HOW CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE
While we are fortunate enough to work with various government and
private agencies, the programming we provide depends on donations and support from a wide variety of businesses, community
leaders and individuals like you. As we look toward 2008, we’re excited to expand the opportunities and strengthen the
programming we provide to Milwaukee ’s youth. In particular, we’re focusing on two special service areas –
around which we’ve created giving campaigns.
Our first program enhancement will be the creation
of a special “academic curriculum” for youth habitually facing suspension or having attendance problems in traditional
school environments. Our program will expand upon the tutoring we offer, and provide in-depth one-to-one youth education,
tutoring, behavior modification and instruction.
Secondly, we’re expanding our Martial Arts
and Tai Chi programs to serve as an After School Care program for both our youth, family members and our staff. We believe
physical activity helps maintain a healthy body, reduces stress and encourages discipline and growth.
