Servant Manor is an African
American, non-profit, Christian social services agency. Inspired by the notion that families can help families
become stronger, we are committed to empowering our youth and building relationships that last a lifetime. Our
vision is a family for every person. Programming
provided by Servant Manor is designed to meet the needs of families through targeted services including: family treatment
homes, treatment foster care, specialized foster care, and short term residential respite care. Throughout
the continuum of care provided by Servant Manor the core dimensions of : spirituality, mental health, physical and environment
concerns, education and socialization are addressed.
History & Organization
Founded in 2002, Servant Manor opened its first out-of-home
care facility with the goal of improving care coordination and family permanency outcomes in Milwaukee. Today
our agency has grown more than 300% with an annual operating budget in excess of $1.2 million dollars.
We operate three out-of-home
facilities, accommodating up to 22 young men and women ages 12-17. A fleet of agency vehicles provides transportation to and
from school and activities. A staff of more than twenty professionals provide daily supervision, counseling, mentoring, academic
tutoring and physical training for our youth. We provide care on a twenty-four hour, seven day a week basis, year round.
